Question : windows cannot access the specified drive, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item
Citrix Server running Windows Server 2003 SP2 R2 cannot run a .exe file(third party application) that is installed in another Server. The EXE file is installed in another Server and that installed folder is shared for everyone. The shared folder is mapped in Citrix Server and a shortcut of the EXE file is placed in desktop. When that shortcut is tried to open, it is giving the Error "windows cannot access the specified drive, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item". Administrator can able to run that file properly and this error is occuring only for Citrix Users,
I tried the following with no success:
1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/
CurrentCon
trolSet/Se
rvices/Cdm
/ Parameters/ExecuteFromMapp
edDrive (value set as 1)
2. "Launching application and unsafe files" is set Enabled in Internet Explorer Security Settings - Trusted Sites Zone
3. "Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration" is set disabled in Windows Components.
Kindly advise with the suitable solution

Internet explorer Enhanced Security was the problem causing this.
Author, Conagraman provided you a link to a working solution, or at the very least pointed you in the right direction, don't you think?
