Question : MAC, OS 10.4: How to Remote access (like VNC) without installing a software

Hello,

I have a problem, a huge problem. I need to help a friend over in Germany. She is not very good with computers. She has a mini Mac with OS 10.4.?? .
I would need to see what is on her screen, or even better control mouse and keyboard too.
Unfortunately she would not be able to install any software.
My IT knowledge is much better but mostly about PC/Windows. So I don't know what kind of tools are actually in my Mac or on hers.
I have a Mac with OS 10.6.3. I guess there should be a way. It would be great, if you could tell me.
