Question : Exchange 2007 Autodiscover errors 1004 1005

Hello all.

I am trying to set up Autodiscover on my Exchange server (which is SBS 2008, and running IIS7)

I have a GoDaddy certificate that is working fine for OWA, and I would like to use this same certificate for the Autodiscover service if possible.

Here's what happens when I test the services (I changed the server's actual name to 'server' and changed the domain's actual name to 'domain' for posting purposes)

in the certificate that you have from GoDaddy    server.servername.local has to be in the list of subject alternative name filed

you might want to request another certificate from Godaddy that supports multiple subject names

.. like mail.domain  and actidoscover.domain  etc..
