Question : Alternative Microsoft VPN Client

We have a Terminal Server with mysql databases that users world wide before accessed by using Remote desktop to an application on the terminal server to get access to the database

Now we want to move the application to the end users pc and use VPN to access the database.

I now have a setup with Microsoft VPN up and running and it seems to work fine

My Question is:
Are there any freeware VPN Client Programs that can be used with Microsft VPN and get validated up towards Active Directory.
I am aware that all versions of Windows has a build in client, but the problem is there are several versions of Windows in several languages and I would like every one to use the same VPN Client in the same language to access, to make it easier for the end user to follow 1 comun instruction not depending on OS and Language.

Does a client like this exist?

why not rather create connection profiles, so that the user doesn't really need configure anything.

You can create connection profiles using CMAK

I personally would not look for another VPN client if you are using MS VPN servers, because it just works,
