Question : Sent emails should be listed in my IMAP sent mail folder, but some appear in my POP3 sent items folder.

Earlier this year I stopped using POP3 in favour of IMAP.  Under the IMAP store I created a folder called Sent mail log and direct sent messages to it, 90% of my sent mail appears in it, but some does not and appears in the old POP3 Sent items folders.  Most recently I sent two emails to the same person, one ended up in the IMAP sent folder the other in the older POP3 folder.
I’m using Outlook 2007 and Windows 7.  I’m up to date with all patches etc.  I’d like to get to the bottom of this as I have a customer with a similar problem.

Within outlook go through the options:
Better still open Outlook help and search for "sent items location"
