Question : Roaming Profile Users and Program Installation on remote machines
Hi,
I have a small network setup here with Windows XP Pro machines all connecting to a domain (on a Windows Server 2008) with users using roaming profiles.
When a user attempts to install a program on one of the XP machines (like WebCEO for example), they get told they need to be an administrator to do so.
How do I set things up so that users can install the programs they want onto their remote machines (but not on the server itself)? Is it something that I need to change on the server through the GPO settings (and if so, could anyone tell me what/how as GPO settings are still quite mysterious to me). Is it something I need to change on the local machine itself?
I suppose I could easily log onto those machines as an admin and install the programs for them but it would be nice if they could do it themselves.
Thanks for your help!

As I was fine with C&E and the KB, I cannot help further.
