Question : Stop Moving folders within file servers.
Hi
we use windows 2003 server/ XP on our domain network with group policy in place. We have 8 departmental folders and user keep moving folders within the file server and this causes confusion and sometimes the users say i have lost the folder .I do a search for the folders sometimes and restore it to its orginal location. Is there a way to configure permissions so that only department head can move the folders within their respective departmental folders area and all other users on that department should not be able to move the folders within the departmental folders.
Thanks
Answer : Stop Moving folders within file servers.
Windows Storage is just like a standard Windows OS with less network and other feature than Standard Edition. I am sure you can install any OS on this server.
