Question : Character Encoding mismatch!

Hi, when I check the WC3 markup of the page at http:// dialysis meals dot net, I get this error:

Character Encoding mismatch!

The character encoding specified in the HTTP header (utf-8) is different from the value in the <meta> element (iso-8859-1). I will use the value from the HTTP header (utf-8) for this validation.

I use the same header on other pages on other sites, I wondered if this could be a server thing? Thanks.

Answer : Character Encoding mismatch!

I don't think so.  As I said, the page passes validation which means the browsers should not be going into quirks mode.   But if you have inexplicable design bugs, then I would talk to the ISP.

Or your could just change your encoding to UTF-8 as well but that might be the cart driving the horse.
