Question : How to have a pop up calendar in Excel

I have the following file that brings up a pop up calendar.  However...to get it to work I had to download and install an Active-X control.  I want to distribute this capability to others who may not have that file, nor will want to install it.

Does anyone know of a way to have a pop up calendar functionality without the need to install additional files?  The ultimate aim is to control date input and make it easy and full proof.

Attached is a free non-activeX calendar popup (works in Excel 2010 too). Thanks to author Phil Johnson. It is in VBA with free source code....Enjoy
