Question : Way to make power button not power off PC

Is there a way to make a modern PC not do anything at all while powered up and the power button is held down or pressed? I tried the Windows 7 option of "do nothing", but if you hold it 4 seconds it still powers down. I looked in my BIOS and saw nothing obvious... reading about ACPI and legacy mode made me wonder if there is any possibility. The problem is my 1 year old keeps pressing the button when I'm not looking!

Answer : Way to make power button not power off PC

that function is very low level in the bios you won't be able to change it... the best you might be able to do is set the bios to power-on after power-loss, then disconnect the power button physically.  if you need to turn the machine back on, unplug the mains and plug them back in
(after properly shutting down of course)
