Question : ...\SystemIndex\Indexer\CiFiles Folder is huge
One of my users workstations had a full hard drive warning this morning. The hard drive size is 65GB and after poking around, I found that the following folder had 45GB of .ci, .dir and .wid files in it....
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Search\Data
\Applicati
ons\Window
s\Projects
\SystemInd
ex\Indexer
\CiFiles
This is the "All Users" folder and when I checked to a couple identical machines, the other computers only had 105 MB of files in that folder. What can I do to clean it up and reduce the size of the folder? There is nothing different with this machine than compared to several other identical machines I have here in the office.
Answer : ...\SystemIndex\Indexer\CiFiles Folder is huge
