Question : ACT 11 database marked suspect.  How to attempt recovery?

I have an ACT 11 database marked suspect, could not open it.  I followed all the knowledge base articles, but none of them have helped.

When trying to open the database, this is after I have detatched it following the knowledge base article, I get:
"An error occurred when processing the log for the database "name". If possible restore from backup.  If backup is not available, it might be necessary to rebuild the log.
Could not open new database 'name'.  CREATE DATABASE is aborted."

How do I go about rebuilding the log?  Or, is the a better option?
