Question : How to erase data from a Mac (wipe/erase/overwrite)

Hello

I am looking for a way to erase some files/folders from my Mac completely (overwriting the clusters on the disk with random data and then delete the file).

Would you know a free tool?

I have one for Windows (Eraser by Tolvanen) but of cause that does not work on my Mac (OS 10.6.3).

Also I believe both volumes must be added to both devices, but Windows will only allow the active node to access the disks.
