Question : Physically Moving Server to New Location

I will be physically moving my pdc, Win2003, to another office. The new office already contains a member server, Win2003, which is a secondary domain controller. I will be updating the dns records so mail will flow to the new ip, internally and externally. Do I only need to worry about updating my dns as I want this server to remain the pdc? Thank you in advance.

Answer : Physically Moving Server to New Location

You will need to update your DNS and any static pointings you have to the old IP address - for example do you have any servers or devices with static IP addresses and pointing to the server for DNS.

Also, do you use AD sites? you will need to move the server.
