Question : Exchange 2003 - new Server - still routing through old smtp virtual server
Hey Everyone,
I just replaced a Server 2003 Small Business server with a Server 2003 Enterprise.
Both are running Exchange 2003. I migrated all users over to the new Enterprise server.
However, it looks like e-mails are still being routed through the old server's virtual SMTP connector. The server shut off this morning, and consequently messages were getting stuck in the queue. How can I force messages to use the new servers Default SMTP virtual server? That way I don't have to rely on the other server AT ALL.
Thanks.

You need to configure your SMTP-Connector that point's outwards you organization.
There the bridgehead needs to be changed to the new server.
