Question : New mail notification envelope icon in outlook 2003 doesn't show

The new mail icon doesn;t appear to be showing up when i get a new email. I made sure my firewall is disabled (I have read some places were this could cause an issue) I have also made sure under the tools>>options>> E-mail options>>advance E-mail options that the check box is checked (show an envelope icon in the notification area).

anything else i could possibly check?

1. you run the console Report tab and select Networker backup statistics\client summary and select the time and client you want the data for
or select the save set sumary or have a look at tohers as well

2. i am not using DPA anymore. do you have it?
