Question : SBS 2003 Server Having Unplanned Shutdowns
Small Biz server 2003 keeps having unplanned shutdowns. It's a Dell Blade server. What is the best way to troubleshoot this. Can I check temperature readings in some way to see if it is overheating? What are the best log files to read?
Answer : SBS 2003 Server Having Unplanned Shutdowns
You can check the standard Windows Event viewer as many problems are logged into the either the system or application log. I am sure that Dell willl have server maangement softwar I know that HP do and this would report specific hardware problems.
