Question : Remove Shutdown Option From Windows 7 Start Menu
I'm hoping someone can help me remove the Shutdown option for all users from the start menu in Windows 7. I don't want to remove the restart, or sleep, or hibernate functions which seems to be the only related template I can find in the gp.
It is not my intention to prevent users from shutting down if they need to (i.e. from the command line). My situation is just that I have a machine in a conference room available to all users of the room, however when people are done often times without thinking they will just choose shutdown instead of Log off, then the next user will start hunting around the room trying to find the machine to turn it back on again.
Thanks!

Answer : Remove Shutdown Option From Windows 7 Start Menu
I haven't been able to find any way to remove only the shutdown option. Seems not to be possible.
