Question : Sync issue between a user's shared calendar view and actual calendar
A user manages her boss’ calendar and has it open along-side her own calendar in Outlook 2007, connecting to exchange server 2003 enterprise. She creates events on the boss' behalf in her own calendar, and then drags the entries from her calendar to his calendar view. This ensures that her boss has an up-to-date calendar on his own Outlook and phone, but without the boss having to deal with any emails associated with the event such as updates, RSVPs, etc.
Recently she had to modify a recurring event that was already in her view of the boss’ calendar. She edited the event in her own calendar and dragged the new copy over to the boss’ calendar, overwriting the old copy. While the changed entry showed up fine in her view of the boss’ calendar, the entire entry was completely missing from the boss’ actual calendar on his computer and phone and the time slot was free. What happened here?
Answer : Sync issue between a user's shared calendar view and actual calendar
No, just set the ports on each end of the switch to switch connection to tagged. Leave the switch port connected to the ASA and the switch port connected to the server as untagged.
