Question : VB .Net 2008 Express Deploy Application

I'm deploying a VB .net 2008 express application to a Windows 2003 Server.  Deployment goes fine and I create a scheduled task to run the app each night.  The task points to the application.manifest file.

All goes well for a few nights then suddenly stops working.  I have to re-run the setup.exe to get it going again.

I suspects this may be because it in not a proper Windows install putting an *.exe in the Program Files directory but have no idea where to go from here.  Thanks
