Question : Is it safe to move Exchange log files to another drive directory?

Dear EE,

We're using MS Exchange Server 2007, and I would like to ask if it's safe to move the location of its log files to another directory. Bec. I'm worried about the capacity of Exchange Server's Drive C:
I need to move the log files manually to another drive directory (Drive D:). In whereas I want it to be automatically move to the new folder directory that I created in Drive D:\exchange log
Now my question is, what are the advantages & disadvantages of moving log files, Local continuous replication system files, & Local continuous replication log files to another folder directory?
Is it safe to just move it to another drive directory from Exchange Management Console?
Please advise...

If you simply go to storage group property then their itself you may change the location of logs file .
i suggest dont move un-committed logs file to another location . first check if log files are committed and then you may move the logs file to another directory.

and if you talking about the server log (not transaction log) then you may change it by storage group  property wihtou any issue . but recommendation is to have server logs on the C: drive
