Question : wired or wireless
my company has a sister location that is about 1000 feet away. We wanted to share our T1 connection with it, as getting another dedicated would be an extra couple hundered dollars extra per month instead of just paying for more capacity for the one. My question is what is a better solution, trenching running a wired connection or using a wireless signal. I work at a port where we do ship recycling and there is alot of metal and heavy machinery around. any thoughts?
Answer : wired or wireless
I'd go with a repeater to amplify the signal. Check the cable standards etc to see how many and where you should put them. Hope I could be of some help.
