Question : After installing desktop experience on 2008 RDP server outlook is no longer default mail program HELP!
I installed desktop experience last night on our terminal servers so that users can open image file attachments from outlook on these terminal servers. Unfortunately installing DE has caused windows mail to be the default program for email now. How do I disable this or set outlook back to the default program for all users that have roaming profiles already created or new users? I tried the default application applet in control panel and set outlook to default and it still doesn't work for other users or new users. Windows mail pops up as soon as an application tries to invoke a mail related task instead of outlook.

Not sure to be honest as I always install it when the RDS role is added and then load Office.
