Question : Microsoft Loopback Adapter DHCP Issue

In WIndow's 7, how do I make the MS Loopback to use the router's DHCP address range?  When I choose the DHCP option on the MS Loopback Adapter it produced an address that was outside of my router's DHCP range.  When I attempt to manually change it will not accept the change.

Answer : Microsoft Loopback Adapter DHCP Issue

A user would only use a broadcast address if you are writing system software.  It is not otherwise under the user's control.  As a regular computer user, your computer uses only the IP address assigned to it to connect with other computers and the internet.  The broadcast address is not something you can choose to use, it's not at all like sending email to everyone.
