Question : Changing SBS 2003 IP Address
I know this question has been asked in various messages before, but I just need to clarify. Here are the details:
1. I have set up an SBS 2003 server off site with an address of 192.168.1.2.
2. I am taking it to a site where they are all currently 192.168.0.x.
3. Due to several IP printers, etc. I'd rather change the IP address of the SBS when I get there to 192.168.0.2.
Can I make this change simply by going to Control Panel, Network, and then modify the TCP/IP setting of the adapter, or is it better to run the Internet and Email wizard in Server Configuration? (BTW they don't use Exchange - they get their email from a 3rd party provider)
Thanks.
Dave
