Question : cisco

I am currently trying to set up a ccna lab i have three cisco 2503 routers, and a dlink switch.  each router has 1 AUI port, 2 Serial Ports, 1 BRI port, 1 Console Port, and 1 AUX port.  I have a few DCE cables and AUI to ethernet cable.  Would anyone be able to provide me with a diagram on how to connect this.  Where does the WAN cable go as opposed to the LAN cable?

Answer : cisco

I cant make you a diagram but you will use the AUI for ethernet and if you have the dce/dte cables you will uses those on the 2 serial ports.  Set up one router as dte and the other as dce and that will be your wan. Console port is for you to connect to to be able to console into the router.  The aux port if for a modem for dial in access.  The BRI port will be useless unless you have one on another router.
