Question : Terminal Services in an NLB Cluster
Hello, I have three Server 2003 Ent terminal servers in an NLB cluster. A fourth machine (server 2003 Std) is running the terminal services licensing and session directory for the NLB cluster. The stations that link to it are connecting to the cluster IP/HostName and being distributed from there.
Is there a way to temporarily tell the session directory to not direct any connections to terminal server A for a period of time, in other words, while I do some updates, all connections should be directed to Terminal B and C until the updates are complete and then allow complete distribution to all three again?
Any other way to accomplish this short of removing the server from the NLB Cluster all together? I just want to temporarily say "No one can connect to this server for now, please distribute to the other two until further notice"?
Thanks

Have you tried a CHANGE LOGON /DISABLE on the TS to see if that works?
