Question : how to deploy/update custom textfile into custom folder using GPO ?

Hi All,

I'd like to know if it is possible to deploy updated text file (Oracle TNSNAMES.ora) company wide using Windows Server group policy object / GPO ?

Assuming the file location is always in the C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\client_1\network\ADMIN ?

any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah...if they were normal controls then the approach you originally posted (and Paul_Harris_Fusion tried to extend) would have worked.

Unfortunately, though, the ShapeControls are an oddity!...  =O
