Question : overflow of cell

sometimes when you type in a cell, you can see the whole text even if it is overflow the limits.

other times, it does not, and you have adjust the cell height to see the whole result. what is the difference. where is the property for this?

thanks

Answer : overflow of cell

If there is nothing in the cell to the right then the contents can visually overflow into that cell. If the cell to right has something in it then you will need to go to Format/Cells/Alignment and select 'Wrap Text', press OK and that will allow the contents of the cell to be wrapped within the width of that cell. It will often, but not always automatically adjust the cell height; if it doesn't double click on the row bottom line on the far left of the screen. That will automatically adjust the row height to cope with the cell contents.
