1). n number of students are going on a trip
2). for each person it costs x USD and the total payment for the bus is 2773 USD
3). 12 student didn't come on the day so now the total student count is n-12
4), Still they (n-12) students have to pay the full amount of 2773 USD for the bus
5). Now each student of the (n-12) has to pay additional 12 USD to tally the total 2773 USD

What is the value of n ?

n*x = 2773 = (n-12)*(x+12) = n*x + 12n - 12x - 12*12
12n - 12x - 12*12 = 0
n^2 - 2773 - 12n = 0
