Question : Updating VMWare tools for guest OS on ESX 4.0 and ESXi host?
When you look at the summary for a guest VM and if it says the tools is outdated do you have to do anything specific to get the most recent version or will it go to the VM site and pull them down?
Do you have to update the ESX host or vCenter server with the most recent version and then install it on VM's?
Whats the best way to , check and update multiple VM's tools?
Thanks,
