Question : PST import /export in Exchange 2010 with eNTERPRISE VAULT 8.0

Hi ,
I have exchange server 2003 and enterprise vault 8.0. I am in the design phase of exchange 2010. My primary target is to eliminate and decommission the Eenterprise vault server.

i have three EV servers. is it possible to extract pst from EV and import those in exchange 2003 maibox  then move mailboxes to 2010

or move mailboxes to 2010 and then import pst to mailbox..


* i have to move mailboxes through wan. mailboxes and PSt  pretty much more in size around 2- 4GB approx
