Question : SBS 2003 slow logon and shared file access
I just created a RAID 1 via an onboard Intel Server board and used Acronis to restore the data to the new RAID. Everything went well, the performance of the box is very snappy but when some users logon, it takes about three minutes and when they finally do logon and access their network shares, its slooooooww.
When i logon as an admin, everything is very quick and no problems. Its like they cant frin a global Catalog Server. I have noticed that the longer the user is logged on, they faster the file access gets. Very strange behavior. I have not noticed any unusual events in the logs. I dont think its the RAID because logging on as adninistrator I have no problems in accessing the server. I noticed that something called sql ADhelper is not running, but i'm not sure that it's supposed to be.
I am lost!
