Question : Windows media services - capabilities
We are planning to propose windows media services 2008 as a part of a solution. Client has list down the following requirments. We are looking for some assistance on replying to this with related to WMS;
1. The system shall allow multiple bit rates to be encoded in the same file and allows the client to automatically detect network conditions and adjusts the video stream properties to maximize quality.
2. The systems shall have a mechanism to limit the number of concurrent users or viewers that can access to the systems.
3. The system shall support two-pass encoding.
4. The system shall support Constant Bit Rate (CBR) and Variable Bit Rate (VBR) encoding.
5. The system shall be able to capture multi-channel audio in real-time.
