Question : Question on Fiber runs
We have fiber run between two floors at our building. It was done several years ago. The patch cables they gave us are 62.5 micron, so I'm assuming that's what the runs are too. It is multimode. I have a few questions:
1. Will 62.5 micron support 10gb?
2. What type of connectors are round? Our fiber patch cables have round ends. Do they make LC adapter cables for this?
Thanks
Answer : Question on Fiber runs
You will need to now if its OM3 capable, that depends on the precise date of manufacturing. the manufacturer itself, and of course the fiber (maybe if you have the model of the installed -not patch cords- should help )
