Question : Radio Button Value

Hi I have a form and around 10 radio buttons on it.

In save part, I want to call a function, which will which tell return the value of radio button as 1 if selected, 2 if not selected.

I mean I want to do something like this

value  = functiontocall(radiobuttonname)

The difference will be in your keyboard layout. You will be using French to type but your kb layout is English so it will take you some time to work out which key you need to press for certain French letters. Apart from that everything will be the same.
