Question : sbs2003 "windows 7" setup.exe problem

we recently put a "windows 7" machine in place of a "windows xp pro" machine and have experienced all pain and no gain for the effort

The windows 7 asks the user signing on to provide an administrator and administrator password in order to run a "setup.exe" program.  The user can click on cancel and everything progresses normally but it is confusing for them to have to try and determin which popups are to be ignored.

How do we get the windows 7 to stop requiring the user to click on cancel.

the popup is named "User account control", the program name is "setup.exe" and the partial message displayed is "To continue type in the administrator password..."

As i say all pain and no gain for the effort to cooperate with the MS efforts to force us into more product "upgrades".  We have true business concerns and do not wish to spend any time at all futzing around with technology problems.

is there a simple way to kill this pop up and we don't give a hoot for the security problems that killing the pop up would cause

don't want to understand at all just want to get back to where we were by KILLING this pop up
