Question : How to display just a folder name, NOT the full folder path for open folders in the taskbar, XP Pro
When I have folders open, in the taskbar, the system attempts to show the full folder path, which of course it lacks the room to do in full. Consequently, the taskbar shows any number of open folders, each labeled "C:\Documents and Settin...", as shown in the photo.
Obviously, they all look alike on the taskbar, and cannot be identified without using "Alt+Tab" to scroll through all open folders and applications to locate the desired folder.
I am hoping there is a setting that will show only the name of the folder:
"Health Articles", instead of a truncated "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Des
ktop\Healt
h Articles".
