Question : Missing Attributes when I migrate User with ADMT

Hello,

We want to migrate User from an existing Domain (2003) to a new Domain (2008) with ADMT.
In the "old Domain" there is a Exchange 2003 that should stay there. We plan to migrato to Exchange 2010 in the "new domain" later this year.

Currently we´re facing the following issue:
When we migrate a User and Workstation with ADMT (with SID-History) into the new domain we see some errors in the log:

WRN1:7857 Could not copy following properties for 'CN=Test User2'.
2010-07-19 14:40:11       homeMTA = CN=Microsoft MTA,CN=ExchangeSRV,CN=Servers,CN=First Administrative Group,CN=Administrative Groups,CN=DOMAIN,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=DOMAIN,DC=local  A constraint violation occurred.
2010-07-19 14:40:11       homeMDB = CN=Mailbox Store (ExchangeSRV),CN=First Storage Group,CN=InformationStore,CN=ExchangeSRV,CN=Servers,CN=First Administrative Group,CN=Administrative Groups,CN=DOMAIN,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=DOMAIN,DC=local  A constraint violation occurred.
2010-07-19 14:40:11       showInAddressBook = CN=Default Global Address List,CN=All Global Address Lists,CN=Address Lists Container,CN=DOMAIN,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=DOMAIN,DC=local, ...  A constraint violation occurred.

The user have also no Email address in his profile

The strange thing is, when i logon with the migrated testuser on the migrated workstation, everything looks fine (profile) and i can connect to the exchange-server in the old domain.

I concern that we maybe run into trouble when we migrate exchange....
(because we also didn´t see the common tabs "Exchange General", "E-mail Addresses", "Exchange Features" and "Exchange Advanced" in the user properties)

Our plan for the migration is/was:
1. migrate all User and Workstations
2. migrate the mailboxes to a new Exchange 2010 environment
3. migrate the rest (Citrix-farm, application server ....)

Answer : Missing Attributes when I migrate User with ADMT

Ok then you must use the exchange tools version of Active Directory users and computers to see those missing tabs. All the attributes are specific to the domain domain.local (they all contain the DN=) which is not applicable in your new domain so that would why they are failing.
