Question : Windows 7 cached credentials-Account lockout
Dear all,
we have some problems with Windows 7 and cached credentials.
As soon as we are working from outside the office, we connect with a PPTP VPN to the office.
When a computer is standby or hibernate, Windows seems to cache some credentials, and as soon as I want to work again, my Domain Account is locked out.
Maybe the cached password is the VPN password and Windows uses it as Windows login?
How can I deactivate that Windows feature?
Answer : Windows 7 cached credentials-Account lockout
No problem at all, if clients are not using the DNS server it will never be an issue, if clients were using it and the records were correct that is no issue anyway.
