Question : CDN Usage Estimate for 1TB of Bandwidth
Hi Experts,
I wonder if someone can tell me if my logic is correct. I'm thinking about using a CDN to host about 5 videos. If my average video size is about 175MB, and I'm charged per usage on bandwidth (vps.net), and I have 1TB of bandwidth to use (before renewal) would this suggest that there could be about 5,700 downloads before I'd need to renew and get another 1TB of bandwidth (not per video, of course)?
With my math, 5,700 x 175MB = 0.9512901306 terabytes
Is this how I would figure usage, or am I way off???
I'd appreciate anyone's thoughts!
Answer : CDN Usage Estimate for 1TB of Bandwidth
That's spot on.
You would be able to stream the video about 5714 times.
