Question : how to create line jumps in Microsoft Visio 2007

I have tried all options.  Nothing changes no matter what I choose.  Also while you are at it, can you pleae let me know how to draw lines with multiple corners without having to use multiple disjointed connectors...I just want one continous line with multiple vertices such that when you highlight it, you only highlight once and be able to delete it intsead of having to highlight each segment of the line.

I found it!

Go to file -> Page Setup -> layout and routing -> Spacing

Click "Defaults" then okay and apply.

I'm still looking into the second part.
