Question : Add a UNC path to internal DNS server
Hi, I don't know if it's possible, but I would like to be able to convert a
http://
path to a UNC path from within our company's DNS server.
For instance if I did:
http://jamorlandotest
it would map to:
\\NAS\testfolder
and open up the site in Windows Explorer.
Thanks for your help,
Jamie
Answer : Add a UNC path to internal DNS server
jamorlandotest would need to be running IIS and have a redirect page to the UNC as its default page.
