Question : After moving mailbox to Exchange 2007 lost all Outlook rules

I am in the process of moving users from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007. I have the Exchange servers setup to co-exist, and everything seems to be running smooth for the most part. I moved our first active user today, and I noticed the user's Outlook rules did not migrate over. I have delayed moving other users until I can find an answer to this. I know I can export them from Outlook, but is there any way for us to do this from the Exchange server when doing the move mailbox function? Also is there a way for us to get the rules back for this one user that lost them after the move?

Server-side Rules are stored in your mailbox, so ideally they should be carried over. So, you should check which rules are deleted - server-side or client-side ?

Secondly, to restore a rule - go ahead restore the database from previous backup to RSG, export the RULES using exmerge. Re-import using ExMerge or Outlook.
