Question : Is it normal to get Java errors during Oracle 11g installation

Oracle was recently installed on Linux RedHat platform 5.5 and although installation completed there were several Java related errors. Is this normal?

Then i don't see the need for you to re-install. The Errors you've seen is mostly related to the Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) - The UI. As long as you are not going to use it, re-install may not be required.
