Question : Auto Reply

Hi,
I got a requirement to set Auto-reply for common mailbox, so if email send to common mailbox sender get message "Thanks for your e-mail, we will contact you shortly". I've done by setting the Rule in outlook 2007 "have server reply using a specific message" and it worked internal emails but if external sender sent to this address the sender don't receive auto-reply.

Question: Is it possible to make this rule work for external sender as in OOO we get 2 options "Inside my organization" & "Outside my organizatoin".

Answer : Auto Reply

Auto-Reply to external senders requires you to enable this on the default (or *) SMTP setting. See Exchange management console - Orgarization - Hub Transport - Remote Domains.
On the TAB "Format of original message..." ther is a tick-box "Allow automatic replies".
