After installing a new MotherBoard which was working, the board is recognized, the green light is solid, but memory is not recognized by 1-3-2 error lights. Trying other Ram, one stick at a time, causes same.
Without memory the error light 3&4 come on, again meaning the motherboard is not recognizing the RAM.
If the problem continues, I'm told to contact Dell Support, but the system is out of warranty.
What can be done? To check if the MotherBoard is the problem. Is the motherboard the problem, since it was working, and what could have been done installing the motherboard to create the problem. I.E. improper power supply, static electrictiy problem, pressing too hard on the memory sticks, just a normal MB failure for an XPS system ?????
