Question : Updating JAVA Control Panel settings.

We are a Citrix/Terminal Services environment.
Our corporate application is a JAVA based application and issue arise if the JAVA cache is not cleared.
Our users do not have the ability to access the Control Panel / JAVA applet.
I would like to make a number of changes with the Control Panel / JAVA applet and apply those settings to ALL users of the platform(s).  These changes would eliminate the constant tech calls that take less than a minute to resolve.

I have been unable to find where these settings reside at a platform level so they can be set/changed for each user.

Answer : Updating JAVA Control Panel settings.

Ok, for the contacts at least, see if this helps:

On the Blackberry, go to Contacts > Menu > Options
You won't be able to see it, but type 'rset '  (no hyphens)
Confirm that you want to wipe the contacts

The address book will then appear blank, and will soon re-populate with the contacts. It should also work with the calendar.

You may also have to delete and resend the service books as per before.
