Question : Connect linux to internet
I have windows 7 connected to internet, I create a virtual machine and installed Linux(Centos) on it.
I would like to get Linux conected to internet too.
I thought I should manually configure the network adapter on Linux, but I am not sure which IP default gateway I am supposed to give it, though I tried the ones from windows 7 such as of vmnet 1 and vmnet 8 as well as the local network adapter IP assigned by the ISP to my DSL router, but still didn;t help.
Any idea on fixing this?

We need a little more info. Are you using VMWare Player, Workstation, or server? How do you have the network configured in the VM settings? Bridged or one of the other options?
