Question : windows media player as a service?

I use Windows media player 11 for my music on hold at work.  I run it on a windows XP pro workstation, turn on windows media player, loop the only mp3 on this machine and away we go.  The only problem is every time there is a power outage or if the computer gets rebooted for any reason, then you have to remember to manualy turn on windows media player or else no music on  hold.

Is there a way to set this up so that when the machine repowers up, it also restarts windows media player?

Answer : windows media player as a service?

You can put a shortcut for the music file to the Start/Programs/Startup folder.

That way each time the computer boots to the windows, this music file will be playing automatically.

I assume windows media player is associated with MP3 extension so windows media player will play it automatically.
